More About Campers Gateway – Campersure
This is an example of a members’ benefit.
As we are not Financial Services Providers, I may not advise you on insurance benefits and premiums.
All that information will be provided to you by a fully compliant insurance broker.
I do, however, understand that you need some sort of indication as to what to expect from Campers Gateway Campersure before you become a paid Campervan and Camping Community Member.
What I may share with you is the information about my own personal insurance policy. I may tell you which cover I have for my personal camping vehicle and what my monthly premium is. By doing this, I am not quoting for your cover; I am merely sharing my personal information with you.
Your risk profile, vehicle risk, etc will all play a role in the quote that the insurance broker will prepare for you, and your premiums and cover may therefore differ from the cover and premiums of my policy.
My vehicle is an Iveco self-converted campervan, and it is now registered as a self-propelled caravan.
I obtained an appraisal certificate for my vehicle, which indicates a value of R250000.
Vehicle Cover: R250000. Premium @0,1% = R250.00 per month.
Vehicle Content: R30000. Premium @0,1% = R30.00 per month.
Roadside Assist: Premium R40.00 per month.
Loss of Keys: Cover R5000. Premium R5.00 per month.
Tyre Damage: Cover R5000. Premium R30.00.

Follow this link to register as a Full Community Member.
Step 2:
Download your membership card
The insurance broker will require annual proof from you that you are a Full Community Member to be able to access the benefits of the insurance product.
Download your membership card.
Step 3:
Vehicle Appraisal
Factory-built vehicles may be excluded from appraisal, but it is always best to make sure that your vehicle is insured at a realistic value and have an appraisal done.
If your vehicle is custom-built, or for instance, a panel van which is converted to a campervan, the insurer and you, as the owner, will have to establish an Agreed Value for the vehicle and an appraisal must be done.
Please note that custom-built vehicles will only qualify for this insurance benefit if it is permanently converted into a recreational / camping vehicle.
For your convenience, we have established work relations with a third-party professional appraiser who can assist you with a value estimate of your custom-built vehicle at a minimal fee.
